MLB Big Events Breakdown: DraftCheat Domination
In the MLB Big Events Breakdown, we’ll cover some of the major GPP’s/Qualifiers across the industry, preferably those that are won by our members! Last night was another continuation of DraftCheat’s total domination, but there were plenty of other winners as well. Let’s take a look!
FanDuel $109 DFBC Qualifier
No, your eyes are not playing a trick on you. DraftCheat did indeed score a 100 on FanDuel the other night. The Braves/Rockies game had 23 runs, but the night that DraftCheat had was nothing short of legendary. Needless to say he won everything that night, including all of the contests on DraftKings. This was his second DFBC seat. Other than DraftCheat, several other Grinders members finished in the top ten, including 3 teams from last year’s TPOY winner, al_smizzle. Tipandpick (the only RG celebrity to ever sell his own unique signed profile ) also snuck into the top 5 with an impressive 84.5 FanDuel points.
FanDuel $535 DFBC Qualifier
The 97 entry DFBC qualifier was taken down by kingofqueens last night, a player who is most known for buying out a bunch of DFBC seats only to cancel them at the last minute. You have to hand it to him though, he put together a good team on a night that in contrast to Monday was incredibly low scoring. He only had 2 players less than 15% owned, and the only combined for 8.75 points, but he got the combination right and now he’s on his way to Vegas. Other Grinders in the top ten included lovesbases, al_smizzle (again!) and csuram88.
DraftKings $1000 FBC Qualifier
Just2buff took down the top spot in this packed qualifier with his second lineup. He whiffed (as did many of us) with his Fracisco Liriano pick after he was pulled in the third inning, but his hitters made up enough of the distance to take it down. Big games from Gattis, Yelich, and Freeman were the difference makers on a low scoring night, as he was barely able to edge out other grinders like csuram88 and DraftCheat.
DraftKings $22 DSBC Qualifier
This guy is on FIRE! DraftCheat had another monster night last night, taking down a seat to the DraftStreet final for his third shot at a million dollar first place prize. The 9% owned Evan Gattis was a must have last night, and DraftCheat reaped the benefits. He was able to secure the seat even with other Grinders BeepImaJeep and Notorious nipping at his heels. DC is on an absolute tear right now and I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to see him in any of my games!
