Happy Friday! We’ve got a good one on tap tonight with our first Coors Field slate of the year along with plenty of strong pitching options on this 12-game slate. No time for shenanigans, let’s get right into it.

A Septet Of Aces

It’s arguable whether all seven of these guys quite deserve the term ‘ace’, but what’s not arguable is that being able to use the term ‘septet’ is a fabulous way to start a Friday morning. We are going to dig for a few cheaper options, but these seven pitchers do stand out as clearly the best options from a raw points perspective, and the bulk of the ownership should come from this group. The first thing that needs to be discussed here is the goofy low salary on DraftKings for Luis Castillo. He jumps so far off the page at $8,000, that the whole slate is going to hinge on if you’re willing to fade a clear underpriced ace at massive ownership. I have my lean already, but before we decide, let’s take a look at this whole group with their 2019 stats (and career stats for Manaea and McCullers due to sample size):
