MLB DFS - Million Dollar Musings - Monday, August 24th

Happy Monday! We’ve got just seven games on the main slate tonight, and all seven are bunched between an 8-9.5 projected total. The majority of the pitchers are above average, not so good as to be must plays on their own, but good enough to make it less than ideal to attack them with bats. (It’s actually less than ideal at all from a moral or legal perspective to attack anyone with bats.) Let’s dig in and see what we find!

Monday Night Pitching

Based on skill set alone, without looking at salary or matchup, I could make some sort of case for all 14 pitchers on this slate. After digging in, I was able to make some pretty clear dividing lines for myself, and my pitcher pool will not be that big tonight. But it’s a strong enough group that I would not argue with you if you end up with more options than I do.
