MLB DFS - Million Dollar Musings - Thursday, September 24th

Happy Thursday! After a behemoth of a slate yesterday, we’re back down to a six-game slate tonight. There is also some dicey looking weather in Atlanta that could knock it down to a five-game slate. This is a very straightforward slate for pitching, and I’ve had no trouble at all narrowing down my pool to a size where swimming will be enjoyable and relaxing. Where this slate is similar to the past couple is that we have mostly decent pitchers everywhere, who are not quite good enough to want to play but also not quite bad enough to want to play against. Five of the six game are stuck in that middling 8.5-9.5 total range of unexcitement.

Pause For ‘Deep Thoughts With Cheese’ – I don’t understand why ‘unexcitement’ isn’t a word. I mean, it clearly should be a word. Excitement is definitely a word, I know because I looked it up in my excitement. A different tense of the word excitement is exciting. And you know what is absolutely a word? That’s right, unexciting. So, what happened to unexcitement? Also definitely a word, excited. Unexcited? Yep, a word. So, come on people who decide what words are, unexcitement! Let’s make this happen.
