MLB DFS - Million Dollar Musings - Thursday, September 3rd
Happy Thursday! We’ve got an unusual day with games spread throughout the day and the sites lining things up differently. DraftKings is doing a 6-game main slate starting at 4:05 ET. FanDuel’s main slate is four games starting at 7:10 ET, while they’ll also have a smaller 4-game slate at 1:35 ET. Yahoo has a couple small slates, but with most of their focus on the 4-gamer starting at 7:10 ET.
For this article, I will primarily be focused on the six later games that are all a part of the main slates on all sites, but I will add some notes specific to the earlier slate on FD.
Thursday Pitching
The pitching is solid for a smaller slate, headlined by Clayton Kershaw as well as the San Diego debut of Mike Clevinger. FD also adds Zack Greinke and Lance Lynn to their early slate, and then we find a mistake pricing on Taijuan Walker giving us some easy value on DK. There are several other pitchers with strong enough 2020 stats to be worth a look as well. Here’s what we’re looking at:
ACES UP TOP

Clayton Kershaw vs Diamondbacks – 29.5% K, 3.6% BB, 1.80 ERA, 2.92 SIERA
Mike Clevinger at Angels – 22.6% K, 11.8% BB, 3.18 ERA, 4.94 SIERA
