MLB DFS - Million Dollar Musings - Tuesday, August 18th

Well folks, Monday night was as wacky and high scoring as expected. With the lack of pitching, home runs were flying out everywhere at an alarming rate. You pretty much needed a home run, if not two from every position. We have a lot more good pitching tonight, but once again have enough bad pitching against good lineups that the scoring is likely to be right back up there again tonight. I’ve got a large group of pitchers to talk through, although my pool ends up getting narrowed to a very manageable level. Let’s get right to it.

Tuesday Night Pitching

We have so many potential choices tonight that I’m going to sort these pitchers into three different buckets. After taking a look at these tiers, I’ll dive into each tier, but will not go in depth on every single one of these arms, it’s definitely a night where I’m going to narrow down from this initial list:

ACES AND NEAR ACES

Yu Darvish vs Cardinals
Luis Castillo at Royals
Blake Snell at Yankees
Carlos Carrasco at Pirates
Kenta Maeda vs Brewers
