MLB DFS - Million Dollar Musings - Tuesday, September 8th

Happy Tuesday! The pitching won out as expected on Monday, with only one game having any semblance of offense. Tonight’s 9-game slate is similar in that there is not much in the way of bad pitching. At first glance, this slate looks tough from all angles with mostly good, but not great pitching across the board which leaves us with less than ideal plays on both sides. But let’s dig in and see what we find.

Tuesday Night Pitching

This is going to be one of those slates where you can build a case for pretty much every single pitcher. I’m going to be narrowing them down, but as always, if you find yourself preferring a different pool than me, hey we can all swim where we want to. I’ll start with three buckets and then start weeding them out:

Four Ace-Ish

Walker Buehler at Diamondbacks
Mike Clevinger vs Rockies
Lance Lynn vs Angels
Andrew Heaney at Rangers

Matchup Aided

Tyler Mahle at Cubs
Adrian Houser at Tigers
Dylan Cease at Pirates
Alec Mills vs Reds
Michael Wacha vs Orioles
Logan Webb vs Mariners

Youngsters and Wild Cards

Sixto Sanchez at Braves
