MLB DFS - Million Dollar Musings - Wednesday, August 19th

Happy Wednesday! We had yet another slate last night where almost everything went pretty well according to the expected blueprint. The big exceptions were the stunning Marco Gonzales masterpiece shutting down the Dodgers, and the less stunning but still unexpected Kenta Maeda near no-hitter. Otherwise it was business as usual with the aces pitching well, and another six teams scoring 8+ runs, including the ‘wash and repeat’ 13 runs against the Boston “pitching” staff.

Tonight appears as if we may get a bit of a break from the excessive offense as there are sold pitchers in almost every game. We do return to Coors Field with the Astros topping the list, but with the Phillies-Red Sox and Blue Jays-Orioles going on earlier in the day, we’ll find a much smaller list of offense tonight than what we’ve had recently.
