Covering the Bases: Saturday, July 22

STLCardinals84, one of the best tournament players in the game, is here to cover the bases for the upcoming MLB DFS slate. Whether you are looking for the top pitchers or the best stacks, Cards has you covered with an extensive deep dive into his MLB DFS picks.
Happy Saturday, everyone! The summer continues to fly by, and we will be into August before you know it. That means the stretch run isn’t too far away for MLB season.
We have our usual split-slate goodness today, and here’s how things shake out:
1) Both FanDuel and DraftKings are offering small contests for the first three games of the day, starting just after 1 PM Eastern. I am not going to cover those slates in this article, but I will hop into the MLB Discord channel for a while before lock to answer any questions you might have on those games.
2) The “early” slate starts just after 4 PM Eastern and has five games on it. However, the start time of the NYM/BOS game has been pushed back by a couple of hours, as they still have to finish last night’s suspended game. DraftKings has kept this game on the early slate and has adjusted appropriately. FanDuel has removed the game entirely from their early slate, so we have just four games over there.
3) The “main” evening slate starts just after 7 PM Eastern and has six games.
Let’s get down to business and get started with the 4 PM slate.
Saturday Afternoon Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on FanDuel & DraftKings

Wow, this early slate is absolutely loaded with pitching for a five game docket. I think you can make a case for SEVEN of the ten arms on this slate, so let’s break it down into two tiers.
