Happy Tuesday, everyone! Cheese will be back with you tomorrow, but you get one more day with me first. We have the usual large Tuesday docket for us this evening, with a matching 12-game slate on both FD and DK. That’s always nice to see. At first glance, this is definitely a slate that looks to lean as a hitter-friendly one, as we don’t have much safety with high-end pitching.
As was the case yesterday, it seems like the MLB weather will cooperate today, with the only real hurdle being the seemingly nightly chance for storms in Atlanta. Keep an eye on that situation as we get closer to lineup lock. Outside of that, it should be all clear for your lineups.

QUESTION MARKS ABOUND WITH THE ACES
- Hunter Brown vs. Tigers
- Gerrit Cole vs. White Sox
- Logan Gilbert vs. Orioles
- Davis Martin at Yankees
What a strange top tier we have tonight. Hunter Brown is making his first start back from injury. Gerrit Cole is making his third start back from injury, and the first two starts haven’t been great. Logan Gilbert hasn’t been quite as sharp this year. Everyone would have laughed at me a year ago for putting Davis Martin in this tier. Yes, there are question marks with every pitcher on this slate, and it’s definitely not a night where you will need to pay up for an ace. Before diving in any further, here’s a look at the 2026 data:
Brown – 3rd start of season
Cole – 2.45 ERA, 4.57 xFIP, 20.2% K, 6.7% BB (4 starts)
Gilbert – 3.62 ERA, 3.69 xFIP, 25.5% K, 5.9% BB
Martin – 2.41 ERA, 3.15 xFIP, 25.2% K, 5.4% BB
