What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: Small-field tournaments with limited entries are my focus. I’ll still enter a few of the large-field, lottery-style GPPs, but my lineup build will be geared toward small-field contests. I see enough offense on this slate to prioritize stacking—either a full 5-man stack or a couple of smaller 3-man stacks. For pitching, I’ll anchor with one high-salary, highly projected arm and look to save as much as possible with my SP2.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – With the Cubs and Rangers likely soaking up the majority of the ownership, I plan to spread my exposure around to other stacks like the Braves, Yankees, and Diamondbacks instead of loading up on the Cubs and Rangers. On the pitching side, I want at least one of Michael King or Paul Skenes, as they are a clear step up from some of the cheaper options and have slate-breaking potential.

ebeimfohr: Despite a sizable slate, I have an extremely narrow pitcher pool, and they are generally on the more popular side. So, I’d really like to focus on the smaller-field tournaments, where I can attack some lower-pOWN% stacks around this tight core of pitchers.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I’ll have a fairly narrow pitcher pool but I’ll spread out my stacks. None of the stacks look amazing, but there are a few that look pretty strong to me (Braves, Rangers, and Royals in particular). I’ll be underweight on the chalky Cubs, as Wrigley is one of the most weather-impacted stadiums in the league and tonight is looking like a tough one for bats (per WeatherEdge).

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
