MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, June 20
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
stlcardinals84: Brandon Lowe
Krayton: Brandon Lowe
TJ Zwarych: Brandon Lowe
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 20 entries in large-field tournaments. This is an intriguing slate from a game theory perspective. I have some concerns about Yoshinobu Yamamoto after his near-perfect game last weekend, as a letdown factor could definitely be in play. Plus, he threw a lot of pitches in that game. I will be underweight on him, and I prefer Cristopher Sanchez and Paul Skenes as my spend-up pitchers, with J.T. Ginn being a great cheap option. This will allow me to be overweight on Pirates stacks, while I also like the Astros and Twins as large-field pivots.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites. I am going to continue to be overweight on Athletics stacks. The Pirates in Coors Field are going to be very popular, so on a 7-game slate, I will gladly take an underweight stance. I will pair my Athletics stacks with either the Dodgers or the cheaper Twins stacks to get different. J.T. Ginn is the pitcher I will be overweight on, and I may lock him in over on DK, where he is too cheap and gets to face an Angels lineup without Mike Trout.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field tournaments. While they’re all incredible plays from a projections standpoint, I’ll be fading Pirates stacks. They’re projecting for ridiculously high ownership as of late this morning, and I’ll instead pivot to the Athletics, Astros, Dodgers, and Twins.
Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
