MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, April 12
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
CheeseIsGood: Brandon Lowe
Krayton: Oneil Cruz
TJ Zwarych: Oneil Cruz
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
CheeseIsGood: The contests you play today need to take into account what you’re doing with the Wrigley game. In smaller-field contests, the ownership there is going to be through the roof. I am unwilling to fade that game, but I’m also unwilling to just go all in on something with 50% ownership or higher in single-entry contests. This means I want to be overweight on the Pirates/Cubs game in MME where possible, and I want to be underweight on that game in single entry.
Krayton: I will be playing more MME contests than usual, as I want to go very overweight on the huge wind game at Wrigley Field. I will mix in secondary stacks that include the Phillies, Brewers, and Orioles. In my single-entry contests, I am looking to focus on lower-owned stacks like the Phillies to get different from the field.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I’ll focus on the massive wind game in Wrigley Field. I’ll make sure I’m overweight on both of those teams while mixing in some Brewers and Phillies as my next favorite stacks.
Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
