What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 10 entries in the large-field tournaments, with a heavy focus on Cleveland. I like Joey Cantillo against a watered down Twins team, and I really like the Cleveland offense stack with Jose Urena somehow getting another chance to start in the big leagues. Though the Guardians generally aren’t a high-end offense, this is a great spot.

Krayton: I will be playing my usual single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites. One of my favorite pitchers is Joey Cantillo, who gets to face the depleted Minnesota Twins lineup. He is cheap enough to allow you to get to most of the top bats. On FanDuel, I will be looking to be overweight on the Coors game, especially the COL side, as there are a lot of cheaper bats, such as Mickey Moniak, Ezequiel Tovar and Hunter Goodman, who have good upside.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs. The sites have really made these slates totally different. Not only is there Coors Field on FD, but there are also significantly more good pitching options. I’ll prioritize the top pitching on FD, but on DK, I’ll get significantly overweight on Joey Cantillo while mixing and matching a variety of stacks.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
