MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, June 16

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

stlcardinals84: Pete Crow-Armstrong
headChopper: Nick Kurtz
Dean78904: Pete Crow-Armstrong

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 15-20 entries in the large-field contests. This is a tough slate for pitching, and I plan to operate with a very small pitching pool. I will very much be overweight on Logan Gilbert and Reid Detmers as my favorite pitchers, and I will be underweight on all of the other expensive options. I will spread out my offense exposure a little more, with the Pirates, Mets, and Reds being my 3 favorite stacks.

headChopper: I am playing small-field tournaments that have limited entries and building 1 lineup on each site. I’ll see if any bad MLB lineups stand out closer to lock, but if not, I think I’ll be playing a pretty chalky pitcher pairing. When lineups drop, I’ll find the best stack I can for each site and play that full stack with some one-offs in the other roster spots.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. I expect Logan Gilbert to be my most popular SP, followed by Reid DetmersHunter Brown, and Drew Rasmussen (if I think my offense is too chalky). My lineups will mostly be filled with Mets, Cubs, A’s, and Reds. I expect to stray from the standard 5-3 stack iteration and am more likely to roll out something like a 3-3-2 or 4-2-1-1 stack.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
