MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, September 28
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
eys819: The Dodgers are the clear top offense, and I will aim to be overweight on the middle/bottom of the order. J.D. Martinez, Jason Heyward, and David Peralta (of the current projected lineup) have less pOWN% than most of their teammates. I am interested in Cubs and Braves as my primary pivots. Pitching is pretty straightforward, and it will be hard to get away from the top guys. My current lean is to go underweight on Chris Bassitt and overweight on Jesus Luzardo.
fathalpert: Don’t be afraid to stack (or use one-offs) against the chalk pitching. This includes paying up for Aaron Judge against Chris Bassitt and Pete Alonso against Jesus Luzardo, for example. We saw Judge go nuclear last night at single-digit ownership and on a small five-game slate, I’d want to at least match the field on his ownership.
TheLuuch: Small slate, will be less prone to full stack and also light on LAD exposure.
Dean78904: We’re looking at a 5 game late where 5 pitchers are clearly in the pool, while 5 are pretty clearly out for me. Jesus Luzardo, Chris Bassitt, Logan Gilbert, Jordan Montgomery, and David Peterson get to play with noodles and wear floaties. The rest don’t have pool privileges from me. If any of the poolworthy pitchers are coming in well underowned when compared to the others, that will be enough to elevate them to priority status.
