MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, September 7

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

eys819: Jam in as many Braves bats as possible by going cheap at SP. Carlos Rodon is the obvious choice, but I will be using Zack Littell and Javier Assad as well. I will be underweight on all pitchers above $9k. The Cubs and Angels are my favorite options for bats where I can’t fit Braves.

fathalpert: Go overweight on the Braves by going underweight on Luis Castillo, Max Fried, and Eduardo Rodriguez. I don’t know if that trio of pitchers will break the slate, and as a result, I’m leaning towards going heavy on cheap pitchers like Carlos Rodon, Javier Assad, Zack Littell, Cal and Quantrill on DK in order to get access to the Atlanta bats.

squirrelpatrol: The Braves are obviously in a good position, but with only six games and an implied run total more than two runs higher than any other offense, DFS players wandering over to the baseball lobby from Best Ball and NFL Single-Game might not realize just how good a position they’re in. I’m not going to overthink it, and I’ll be aiming to be overweight the Braves, using different combinations of their hitters and different players in the pitching spot.

TheLuuch: I’m likely only playing one lineup. The Atlanta bats are carrying astronomical projected ownership. Leaning toward making that terrifying fade.

Dean78904: The Braves have a team total above 7. That is what happens when the best offense in baseball faces the worst pitcher in baseball. I’m trying to find pivots not to love, but just to like, and I’m still struggling, as no other team has a team total above 5. I’m just going to play Atlanta but I will do so a little differently. Maybe I won’t fully complete my stacks, or I will possibly focus on the bottom of the lineup. But just going with a 1-5 Braves stack is something I’m going to try to avoid.

Who is your top overall pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
