MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, August 30

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: As much as I like Atlanta, I think the Dodgers, Tankees, and Rangers all have similar type of upside on this slate. I’ll be using the Braves as mini stacks tonight, and I’ll be overweight on the Yankees and Dodgers. For value, I like the Pirates a lot on this slate. As far as pitching, Cole is the best pitcher by a large margin today. It’s hard to fit Cole and Braves, so I’m going with Cole. I only play three lineups, so it’s easiest for me to take stands.

headChopper: With my 50 lineups, I am keeping every pitcher in play so that I can stack at least three Braves in every lineup.

squirrelpatrol: There are only 12 teams playing on this slate, and one of them is projected for more than 8 runs. I’ll be going under the field on the expensive pitchers and way over the field on cheaper, riskier pitching options trying to squeeze in the expensive Coors field game.

fathalpert: Full stack every team except the Braves. I haven’t registered for any contests yet, but I’m leaning towards playing a 20-max tournament. In that type of field where people have limited entries, my guess is they prioritize jamming in as many Braves as possible. I’ll take the approach of prioritizing one of Gerrit Cole, Zach Eflin, or Jesus Luzardo as my SP1 and then build a primary stack of a non-Atlanta team (I will use Atlanta as a secondary stack or as one-offs if they fit). If the Braves go off, I just lose, but I’m hoping one of these other teams can match or exceed their production.

AlexSonty: I’m not gonna attempt to jam in Gerrit Cole with Braves, if that’s even possible. However, it is possible that it is gonna be the most common path. I don’t think I can afford the Dodgers with the Braves, so I’m looking for a lower-owned secondary stack like the Rockies or playing five Braves with three lower-owned one-offs. But I am full-stacking the Braves.
