MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, September 6

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: I’m going to play Strider in all of my three-entry builds and fade Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer, and Kyle Gibson. I’ll pair Strider with Clarke Schmidt, Touki Toussaint, and Matt Manning. I’m hoping this creates enough leverage to be different. On my Schmidt team, I’ll look for a lower-owned secondary stack to make it different.

headChopper: With 150 entries, I am going to stay within a small range of pitchers and have a 3+ hitter stack on every lineup I build.

squirrelpatrol: I’ll again aim to get under the field on Spencer Strider, hoping for another 9-strikeout excellent-but-not-need-to-have-it game that prices him off the winning lineup. I’ll use the savings to spend up for stacks from high-total games like NYM-WAS, fitting in some unique, high-priced one-offs.

fathalpert: Use White Sox bats as one-offs only (as opposed to a full stack). I’m expecting the White Sox to be one of the chalk offenses due to their cheap prices and their matchup with Jordan Lyles. Lyles has now allowed a home run in six straight games, so I’m not trying to completely avoid him, but I’m going to limit my White Sox exposure so I am underweight on full stacks.

AlexSonty: I’ll only play the Braves if I get to three lineups (which is likely). I’m not playing Jordan Lyles, but I’m also not stacking the #gutless White Sox. Without Luis Robert and Jake Burger, their lineup’s power is a bit ho-hum. Sure, Lyles gives up more HR/9 than anyone on the slate, but the ballpark plays against the Sox too. I’m only using Eloy Jimenez and Lenyn Sosa as one-offs. Otherwise, I’m likely double-stacking the Mets and Yankees in single-entry. Those two teams will be owned, but people still don’t stack as much as they should, let alone double-stack. So going with the chalky pitching combo of Spencer Strider and Clarke Schmidt won’t kill me.

Who is your top overall pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
