Happy Friday! We have a big ol’ 14-game slate that looks to be incredibly jumbled on the hitting side. You could even find reasons to spread out on the pitching side, but I’m going to be much more narrowed down with arms tonight. It appears that the MLB weather is going to cooperate tonight, so we can just dig in to the slate and then wait for the MLB starting lineups to start rolling in.

Friday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on FanDuel & DraftKings

Gilbert of the Mariners

The pricing is fairly loose on DK, with no one priced above $10,000. There are also a couple of higher-strikeout pitchers whose salaries are still deflated, which is going to cause me to shrink this pool pretty quickly.

TOP TIER PITCHING

Logan Gilbert has been one of the best pitchers in the league this season, and he appears to be back to a full workload now 2 starts off the IL. I also give him a full pass for the 3 HRs he allowed in the crazy wind game at Wrigley last week, as he also had a 6:0 K:BB ratio. He’s only $10,000 on DK and is basically as good as the pitchers who have been $11,000+ for most of the last week. The matchup is not perfect, but with this type of skill set, it’s more than good enough. He’s my clear SP1 on DK, but before I call him the SP1 on FD, let’s move on to the next guy.

Will Warren is still under $9k on both sites, presumably because of the high ERA. His 29.4% K rate is the 2nd best mark on this slate, and he gets a high strikeout matchup on top of it.
