Happy Monday! We kick off the new week with Coors Field back in our lives, but also an ace-filled slate headlined by the best pitcher currently working here on planet earth. There is a lot to like on both sides for this 9-game slate, so let’s jump right into it and find some MLB DFS picks for this Monday night.

Sure, Lots Of Aces, But Also, One Ace
Jacob DeGrom at Royals
There are several aces on this slate, any of whom could pop for a ceiling game at any time. But let’s not be a gaggle of jabroni’s here. Jacob deGrom is the ace, the best pitcher in the world, and just simply better than all these other great pitchers. He’s allowed a few more runs than expected this season, but he’s right back up over 40% strikeouts and has walked just two batters in 16 innings.
It’s almost as if we have just taken for granted how elite this guy is. Sure, there are not a ton of innings, but this guy has been over 40% strikeouts for three seasons. 40% strikeouts! That is absolutely unheard of for a starting pitcher. Somehow, DK still has him priced at just $10,100, in between Gausman and Wheeler. In between Gausman and Wheeler? CUT IT OUT. On FD, he’s $10,600, a full $500 below Gausman. CUT IT OUT. It’s Jacob deGrom and it’s Jacob deGrom with a better matchup than the other four aces on this slate. You can do whatever you want and play whoever you want and be as sneaky as you want to be. For me, it’s pretty simple. Play the best pitcher in the world for $10,100 / $10,600.
After deGrom, it gets a little trickier with four strong options:
Corbin Burnes at Mariners
Kevin Gausman at Astros
Zack Wheeler at White Sox
Cristian Javier vs. Blue Jays
