Pitching Texture

Monday’s slate is an intriguing one in regards to high-priced pitching options as there are a handful of reasonable options to choose from. My SP1 for the night is Trevor Bauer, who is currently projected to be the highest owned pitcher of the slate (40% DK, 20% DK). Yes, the Mariners offense has been dominant to start the season but this still sets up as a favorable spot for Bauer at the pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park. While potent, the Mariners lineup does have a handful of strikeouts in it, which is good news for Bauer who has posted a strikeout rate north of 30% to start the season.
