PItching Texture
Justin Verlander. That’s it. That’s the list of pitchers I’m excited to roster on Monday night. Verlander stands head and shoulders above the rest of the field both in terms of floor and ceiling. Per Derek Carty’s The Bat Percentile Projections, Verlander is the only pitcher on the slate who has a bottom 10th-percentile projection on DraftKings that is positive (5.4). Verlander also laps the field with a 51.5 DK pt 90th-percentile projection while Madison Bumgarner is next in line with a 90th-percentile projection of 43.
