Monday’s MLB slate features only 6 games, but there are still plenty of betting opportunities on the board for fans to consider!
As always, bettors should start the day by taking a look at the MLB weather. There are cooler temperatures in Cleveland and Baltimore, but we could see the bats come alive tonight in Hollywood with some more hitter-friendly weather forecast in Los Angeles for the final game of the evening.
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Monday, May 11th!
Best MLB Player Props for Monday, May 11th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 PM ET on Monday, May 11th:
- Joey Cantillo Over/Under 14.5 Outs Recorded
- Tyler O’Neill Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Pete Alonso Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Joey Cantillo OVER 14.5 Outs Recorded (-190, Novig)
The weather in Cleveland tonight will certainly be on the pitcher-friendly side, with the forecast below 60 degrees and winds blowing straight in from center field at first pitch. Though the Guardians didn’t use many relievers on Sunday, they have heavily taxed their arm barn of late. It would make sense for their manager to do what he can to get Cantillo through 5 frames in this spot. The Angels were in Toronto yesterday and find themselves in a new city on Monday without the benefit of a day off, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see their bats come out a little flat to begin the new week.
Tyler O’Neill OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+116, DraftKings)
O’Neill has endured a dreadful start to the 2026 campaign, but the sample size is still too small to write him off completely. He enters play with a 138 wRC+ in his career against southpaws. Ryan Weathers hasn’t pitched in 9 days due to a mysterious illness that reportedly caused him to lose significant weight. This could be a good spot to bet on some positive regression for O’Neill.
Pete Alonso OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-106, Caesars)
Alonso has struggled against southpaws early in 2026, but he is in the cleanup spot tonight against Ryan Weathers, who is making his first start since returning from a significant illness that reportedly caused him to lose 10 pounds. This is a correlated play with O’Neill due to them hitting back-to-back in Baltimore’s lineup. If there are other Baltimore hitters you prefer on Monday, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to deploy a similar strategy with those names.
