All 30 MLB teams are scheduled to be in action on Tuesday as part of a 15-game evening slate. First pitch today is set for 6:35 p.m. ET between the Diamondbacks and Orioles.
As mentioned prior to yesterday’s games, the MLB Weather report is finally showing some promise, with warmer temperatures across the country. We saw a number of high-scoring games on Monday and could be in for another strong offensive day on Tuesday. As always, be sure to keep an eye on temperature and wind prior to locking in any wagers.

Best MLB Player Props for Tuesday, April 14th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35 PM ET on Tuesday, April 14th:
- Shane McClanahan Over/Under 15.5 Outs Recorded
- Wilyer Abreu Over/Under 1.5 Total Bases
- Kyle Tucker Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Shane McClanahan UNDER 15.5 Outs Recorded (-162, FanDuel)
FANDUELComing off of major surgery last year, Drew Rasmussen only worked into the 6th inning once in his first 8 turns through the Tampa Bay rotation. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Rays continue to employ a similar approach with McClanahan early in 2026.
McClanahan has faced 19 batters and 17 batters through his first 2 turns in the rotation this season. He hasn’t completed 5 innings in either of those outings. If Kevin Cash can get McClanahan through 5 innings at around 75 pitches, that would likely be a major win. The arm is rested behind him, with the team not having had a game yesterday.
Wilyer Abreu UNDER 1.5 Total Bases (-156, DraftKings)
DRAFTKINGSAbreu is off to a great start this season, but it’s also fair to point out that he’s running a likely unsustainable .422 BABIP. Mick Abel isn’t a top-tier starting pitcher, but he walks a lot of batters, which could limit Abreu’s chances to accrue total bases in this matchup. If Abreu walks even one time this evening, it creates value on the under here.
Kyle Tucker OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100, BetMGM)
BETMGMTucker came up short of this number last night, but his continued presence in the 2-hole for the Dodgers makes this a +EV wager every day at this price. Tucker often earns 5 plate appearances due to the Dodgers’ high on-base percentage. Despite not having tremendous success hitting the ball early in 2026, he’s still getting on-base at a high clip, which gives him a chance to score a run each time he takes the field. This is good value.
