Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Wednesday, July 29th:

Joey Cantillo UNDER 6.5 Strikeouts (-133, DraftKings)
DRAFTKINGSCincinnati has a lot of swing-and-miss in their lineup on a day-to-day basis, but they are slightly more capable of putting the ball in play against southpaws than they are against RHP. Since July 1, Cincinnati’s offense ranks a respectable 20th in strikeout rate against southpaws, which makes it difficult to see Cantillo getting to 7 strikeouts in this spot, especially with a rested Cleveland arm barn behind him on Wednesday.
Brady Singer OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-104, FanDuel)
FANDUELThis season, Singer has a 22.3% strikeout rate against LHB compared to a 6.0% walk rate against RHB. Tonight, Cleveland has 8 LHB in their lineup, including some guys like Kyle Manzardo, Patrick Bailey, and Petey Halpin, who are prone to striking out. There is value at this price on the over.
Matthew Boyd UNDER 17.5 Outs Recorded (+114, DraftKings)
DRAFTKINGSBoyd faced 29 batters in his most recent outing against the Pirates, but he still threw only 97 pitches. Since returning from the injured list, he’s been efficient, but his 4.45 xERA and 4.51 FIP are both significantly misaligned from his 2.31 ERA. Boyd has been allowing a lot of quality contact while not missing many bats. At plus money, this could be a worthwhile risk, especially with a rested Cubs arm barn behind him.
