Friday’s MLB slate features 15 games, meaning that all 30 teams will be in action to begin the weekend. Of course, this also means that there are plenty of betting opportunities for fans to evaluate ahead of first pitch this evening!

As always, be sure to monitor our MLB starting lineups page throughout the day, as unexpected changes in the batting order can result in value opportunities in the betting and DFS markets.

Another reminder – it’s not a bad beat, or unlucky, if you bet a player to hit a home run and his fly ball dies on the warning track because it’s 40 degrees with the wind blowing in! Before locking in any bets, use our MLB weather page, curated by Chief Meteorologist, Kevin Roth. There are countless edges to be found if we make the right reads on possible rain delays and great hitting weather, just to name a few. Taking a look at the weather report can save us from a bad bet that otherwise looks good on the surface.

Below, you can find my 3 picks for Friday, April 11th!

Best MLB Player Props for Friday, April 11th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 PM ET on Friday, April 11th:

Taj Bradley UNDER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-130, bet365)

Bradley made it through 6 innings against Colorado in his first start of the season, but that’s not likely to be something he does on a routine basis. In his second turn through the rotation, Bradley was forced from the game after only 5 innings, allowing 4 runs and 6 baserunners against the Rangers. Tonight, he draws a tough matchup against a good Atlanta offense, with winds blowing out significantly towards center field around first pitch. There are a number of ways in which he could end up short of this number.

Brandon Lowe OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-105, DraftKings)

Remember when Bryce Elder was among names included in NL Cy Young conversations early in 2023? Don’t worry, nobody else does either. Across his final 20 starts that season, he had a 4.95 ERA, 5.04 FIP, and 1.35 WHIP. He was even worse in 2024, struggling to a 6.52 ERA, 4.56 FIP, and 1.63 WHIP. Elder struggles mightily with lefties, which means Lowe is well-positioned to make an impact this evening, especially with the wind blowing out towards center field in Tampa. This is great value.

Jonathan Aranda OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110, DraftKings)

Another Tampa player who is well-positioned to make an impact with the stick tonight is Aranda. Entering play, Aranda owns a .423 batting average and 248 wRC+ against RHP in a limited sample size to begin 2025. Those numbers will certainly regress over the course of a full season, but right now, Aranda is seeing the ball very well. He should have opportunities to get on base or drive in runs in a favorable matchup against Bryce Elder, who has long-established struggles across the platoon.
