Happy Tuesday! All 15 MLB games tonight have a scheduled first pitch of 6:40 p.m. ET or later, giving bettors plenty of time to find a few plays to their liking before everything gets underway.

As always, be sure to monitor our MLB starting lineups page throughout the day, as unexpected changes in the batting order can result in value opportunities in the betting and DFS markets.

Another reminder – it’s not a bad beat, or unlucky, if you bet a player to hit a home run and his fly ball dies on the warning track because it’s 40 degrees with the wind blowing in! Before locking in any bets, use our MLB weather page, curated by Chief Meteorologist, Kevin Roth. There are countless edges to be found if we make the right reads on possible rain delays and great hitting weather, just to name a few. Taking a look at the weather report can save us from a bad bet that otherwise looks good on the surface.

Below, you can find my 3 picks for Tuesday, July 22nd!

Jazz Chisholm OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110, DraftKings)

This season, Max Scherzer has struggled mightily across the platoon, posting a disastrous 7.26 FIP and 1.33 WHIP against left-handed hitters. His struggles have stemmed primarily from an inability to miss bats against lefties, generating an anemic 14.3% strikeout rate. Chisholm has been at his best against right-handed pitching in 2025, hitting .258 with a 157 wRC+, .933 OPS, and .320 ISO. He’s positioned to do some damage.

Corey Seager OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-175, DraftKings)

Seager has been excellent against right-handed pitching in 2025, hitting .282 with a 144 wRC+. He gets to face JT Ginn, who has struggled to a 6.59 FIP and 1.74 WHIP across the platoon to begin his career. He’s allowed a .336 batting average to left-handed hitters, which is a function of him being extremely reliant on a sinker that simply doesn’t miss bats. Seager could have a strong showing.

Angel Martinez UNDER 1.5 Total Bases (-160, DraftKings)

This season, Martinez has struggled mightily against right-handed pitching, hitting .216 with a 60 wRC+ and a meager .139 ISO. Even in a favorable matchup against Brandon Young, this is a playable price for a player who has struggled mightily to generate any type of power production when hitting from the left side. In 202 such plate appearances this year, Martinez has only 16 extra-base hits. He would likely need a multi-hit effort to go over this number.
