Best MLB Player Props for Tuesday, June 17th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 PM ET on Tuesday, June 17th:

Ketel Marte OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110, BetMGM)

Marte went hitless on Sunday against the Padres, but that ended a 5-game hitting streak for him. Since May 14th, Marte hasn’t gone hitless in consecutive games – a span of 26 games. Tonight, he will get to face Chris Bassitt, who has historically struggled mightily against lefties. This season has been more of the same, with Bassitt posting a 4.00 FIP and 1.50 WHIP across the platoon. This is a good matchup for Marte to accrue some counting stats.

Kyle Tucker OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-145, bet365)

Opposing pitcher Chad Patrick has been more than adequate since the beginning of May, posting a 3.67 ERA, 3.11 FIP, and 1.22 WHIP. That being said, he still enters play with a 9.7% walk rate against lefties, and Tucker is one of the best left-handed hitters in the game. Tucker walks at an extremely high rate, which means his chances of getting on base tonight are high, and that increases the likelihood of him scoring a run. Tucker is also batting .268 with 8 home runs against RHP this season, so it’s possible he won’t need any help cashing this bet, facing a fly-ball pitcher who is prone to allowing some hard contact.

Seiya Suzuki OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140, bet365)

Suzuki is due for a bounce-back performance after going hitless on both Saturday and Sunday against the Pirates. Suzuki has been better against LHP this season, but he’s still plenty capable against RHP and has good lineup protection around him. The weather conditions are also relatively hitter-friendly tonight at Wrigley Field, with the temperature north of 80 degrees and a slight wind blowing out towards center field around first pitch.
