MLB Stack Value Chart FAQ
Using this tool: This tool is designed to help identify stacks that are strong combinations of median projections and DFS site prices. “Value” is defined as having that combination of price/projections and is rated on a plus minus basis. The higher the number, the better.
Term | Description |
PlateIQ 1 to 6 | The average PlateIQ rating of team batters 1 through 6. |
Vegas Implied | The implied run total expected by the betting market as of the time this tool was last updated. |
1 to 4 Value | The median projection plus/minus value for batters 1 through 4. The salary of the batters is compared to projections via formula to determine. |
2 to 5 Value | The median projection plus/minus value for batters 2 through 5. The salary of the batters is compared to projections via formula to determine. |
3 to 6 Value | The median projection plus/minus value for batters 3 through 6. The salary of the batters is compared to projections via formula to determine. |
4 to 7 Value | The median projection plus/minus value for batters 4 through 7. The salary of the batters is compared to projections via formula to determine. |
5 to 8 Value | The median projection plus/minus value for batters 5 through 8. The salary of the batters is compared to projections via formula to determine. |
Total Value | A weighted average of all stack values listed that incorporates a small boost based on PlateIQ and Vegas odds. |
