The UFC is back in the Apex Center for a welterweight showcase with an action packed supporting cast. Sean Brady is looking to build momentum on his march towards the top of the division, while Gilbert Burns looks to right the ship after a skid against elites of the division. Both fighters suffered a loss to current UFC Welterweight Champion Belal “Remember the Name” Muhammad, so I expect to see two hungry contenders who are eager to earn a chance to redeem themselves in a championship setting.

Yanal Ashmouz looks to be in incredible physical shape leading into this fight, but he returns to the cage as an underdog for the third time in as many UFC appearances. He is taking on a fan favorite and all action fighter in the form of Trevor Peek.

Peek is a wild brawler with a big heart and a strong will to win. He may get touched up in the early going against a more technical fighter in Ashmouz , but he creates frenetic exchanges that Ashmouz seemed allergic to in his matchup against Chris Duncan.

Despite going the full 15 minutes, Ashmouz landed just 35 significant strikes, allowing Duncan to nab an easy unanimous decision. Peek has never landed fewer than 47 significant strikes inside the octagon, and he has arguably fought the higher quality of competition.
