What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field tournaments – There are a bunch of bad DFS fights on this slate and a lack of expected early finishes. Because of the lack of options, I will be targeting some fights expected to go to decision a lot, like Chairez/Elliott, Blaydes/Cortes-Acosta, and Rongzhu/Garcia more than I normally would, as I expect those fights to still score okay even if they go to a decision. You should take advantage of the expected early finishers where they are on the slate, like both sides of the McMillen/Rahiki fight, and a pay-up option like Tommy Gantt could win with an early finish or amass some takedowns.
Bward586: Small-field tournaments – I have a pretty tight player pool built around heavy exposure to Rahiki, Bahamondes, the main event, and the Blaydes/Cortes-Acosta fight. I’ll have near 100% exposure to those fights/fighters, leaving just a few combinations to build around them with.
LiamPicksFights: Large-field tournaments – In terms of salary relief options, I want to limit my player pool to Delgado and the fighters priced between $7,300 and $7,900 as often as possible. I want to prioritize Gantt and McMillen as spend-up options because I believe they could wrestle (or strike, in the case of McMillen) to a massive score. I want to have pieces from the King/Rosas fight (I expect competitive grappling exchanges), the Blaydes/Cortes-Acosta fight, and the Chairez/Elliott fight.
