MMA DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for UFC 299 – O’Malley vs. Vera 2

What are your thoughts about stacking the 5-round fight in cash?

eys819: I would definitely stack the main event with O’Malley and Vera. The fight is favored to last the full 5 rounds and should be fought at a good pace. The co-main is a great fight as well that would be a potential stack on most cards. But there are several live underdogs on this card, and I would be chasing win equity rather than stacking this one. I would take Saint Denis and look for an underdog with solid win equity for cash games.

Moneyball16: We have two 5-rounders this week. I think the O’Malley/Vera fight is a stack, but I probably only go with Saint Denis from the other 5-rounder. The O’Malley fight is a coin flip to go the full 5 rounds, while Saint Denis/Poirier is only +340. Poirier’s not a bad cash play, but I think you can do a little better with 14 fights to choose from.

h3budda: I am locking in the O’Malley/Vera fight due to the large volume striking that is expected. This is expected to go to a decision at -130. The second fight is tricky because Saint Denis could easily blanket Dustin for a lot of the beginning rounds of this fight. I’d probably just stack the main event and take BSD.

squirrelpatrol: The 5-round bantamweight matchup between Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera is the ideal five-rounder to stack, as it should score well per round and has a decent chance of going all five rounds. The co-main event 5-round fight between Benoit Saint-Denis and Dustin Poirier is a great fight for GPPs but isn’t a fight you need to stack in cash.

What is the fight you are most likely to avoid and why?
