What are your thoughts about stacking the 5-round fights in cash games?
h3budda: With just 12 fights on this card, you will likely have to take the double stack for both 5-round fights. You are locking in a -275 in the women’s and a -160 in the men’s to go to a decision. This is a great floor for a card that lacks pure value plays. Lee will be the next play, as he will be closing as a favorite. I just can’t justify fading even one of the 5-round fighters due to the floor.
Moneyball16: I think it’s probably best to stack both fights. Both are favorites to go the full 5 rounds, and both should be fought at a decent pace. If I had to change it up, I would likely drop Fiorot from the stack, as she doesn’t have great win odds for her price and has little grappling upside.
Bward586: This is an extremely tough call, since both title fights are fairly likely to go to a decision. I typically don’t want to play two stacks in cash games, since you’re guaranteeing two losses in your lineup, though this might be the rare exception. It mostly depends on how the rest of my lineup shakes out, but my likeliest fade is Jack Della Maddalena. Not only does he have the least grappling upside of the four fighters, but Muhammad typically doesn’t allow his opponents to score well.
LiamPicksFights: I like stacking the main event this week more than stacking the co-main event despite the lower GTD price. Muhammad has clear takedown and control time upside, while J.D.M. has real power, excellent volume (6.7 significant strikes per minute), and he is active working back up to his feet. Both Muhammad and J.D.M. are proven fantasy scorers. I expect a more tepid, low-volume kickboxing match between the two ladies, but both have shown a willingness to attempt takedowns, and both have a proven ability to score 100+ points over 5 rounds. If you’re playing multiple entries, I would consider stacking both 5-rounders in some of your lineups.
