What are your thoughts about stacking the 5-round fights in cash games?
Moneyball16: I am probably stacking both of these fights. The Pantoja/Van fight is the easier of the two to stack. It has pretty good odds to go the full 25 minutes, and the fight pace should be high. With Dvalishvili/Yan, I think Dvalishvili is a cash lock, and Yan is a good play too. Yan likely gets dominated, but he really doesn’t need to score that much at his price and given the fact that this one is -300 to go the full 5 rounds.
Bward586: I’m not opposed to stacking both title fights, but my preference is the main event. Dvalishvili allowed 40 points against Yan in their first meeting, and the younger Yan should theoretically have made more improvements than Dvalishvili since then. The co-main would be an obvious stack on most slates, but there’s enough value elsewhere that there’s a case for picking a winner this time around.
LiamPicksFights: I think the main event is the clear stack here. Pantoja has a legendary chin, but he is a sub threat in all 5 rounds, he has underrated power, and he has an opponent with heavy hands who builds into extended fights. The main event has proven 5-round commodities that have been to decision in a combined 23 of 31 UFC fights. Yan and Merab are proven hard to kill, they are solid scorers, and they should have 5 rounds with which to work. Yan also has the 2nd-lowest salary on the slate, so he opens up space in your lineups.
Which fight are you most likely to avoid and why?
