MMA DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for UFC Fight Night – Burns vs. Malott
Who is your favorite fighter to spend up for in cash games?
Moneyball16: Young
Bward586: Barbosa
LiamPicksFights: Barbosa
Which fight are you most likely to avoid and why?
Moneyball16: Horth/Aldrich – This is easily the worst DFS fight on the slate. It is a ridiculous -400 to go to a decision, which is significantly higher than any other fight, and both of these fighters have sample sizes of 6+ fights that are low-scoring per minute.
Bward586: Horth/Aldrich – Croden/Zheleznyakova isn’t much better, but at least Croden lands over 4 significant strikes per minute and has some power, while neither Aldrich nor Horth lands at that rate or has scored a UFC knockdown.
LiamPicksFights: Horth/Aldrich – I agree with my colleagues for the reasons they mentioned. I will add that Horth is 6-0 in fights that end ITD (1-0 UFC), while Aldrich is just 3-3 in fights that end ITD (1-2 UFC). If you have to pick a side, you probably grab Horth as the fighter with the 2nd-lowest ownership on the slate and pray she finishes, but more often than not, this is a competitive decision in which both women could fail to justify their salary. This has 29-28 SDEC written all over it.
