What are your thoughts about stacking the 5-round fight in cash games?

h3budda: There are not a lot of places to go to open up some salary. I might be wild enough to play Avila in cash to actually open up playing whoever I want. Stacking is likely the play, as you should have a good floor of constant striking for as long as it lasts (the fight is -120 to go over 2.5 rounds).

Moneyball16: I will not be stacking this one in cash. Rodrigues is one of the best cash plays on the slate, but I will not be playing Cannonier. For a 5-rounder, this one has a high chance of ending early, and while Cannonier has improved his takedowns, his striking pace and takedown potential, historically, have been mediocre.

Bward586: Given that the underdog Cannonier is unlikely to grapple here, he’s a fairly low-upside play, all things considered. With the fight roughly 50/50 to hit the championship rounds, it’s certainly not a priority to have Cannonier in cash lineups. With that said, if it makes the salary work elsewhere in your lineup, it’s not a terrible option, but I think there’s enough value (Avila/Kattar) elsewhere to avoid it.

LiamPicksFights: Cannonier is up there in age, his durability is declining, and he has suffered 6 UFC knockdowns. I think he could make the optimal lineup with a KO win, but I’m not sure what this fight looks like if it gets extended. Overall, I lean towards taking Rodrigues or Cannonier as a standalone to differentiate from the field.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
