Which fight are you most likely to avoid and why?
Moneyball16: Thicknesse/Morales – There are so many strong DFS fights on this slate that it makes this one stick out like a sore thumb. The fight is -220 to go to a decision, and historically, neither of these fighters have fought at a good pace. This fight stinks.
Bward586: Thicknesse/Morales – This is 1 of just 3 fights on the card favored to go the distance, and both of their wrestling backgrounds could cancel out, leading to a low-power striking affair. With neither of them especially cheap, it’s hard to see a decision win being enough to make it into the optimal lineup.
LiamPicksFights: Thicknesse/Morales – Unless Thicknesse can bank a ton of control time and takedowns, which I don’t expect, it is hard to see him scoring as well as similar-priced fighters in the field (e.g. Prates, JDM, Pericic). Morales has put up only 1 relevant fantasy score in his career (110.8 vs. Louis Smolka in 2021). He scored 69 fantasy points or fewer in 2 of his 3 UFC wins. Even if Morales springs the upset, there is no guarantee he will provide a relevant score.
