What are your thoughts about stacking the 5-round fight in cash games?

h3budda: Normally, on any slate that doesn’t have a massive value like Fernandes, I would say stack. Caio has a style that will limit the scoring of many opponents. He will try to work toward cage control or takedowns. I think you take the favorite here and move on to better pieces in cash. You just cannot ignore the value on Fernandes, who really opens things up.

Moneyball16: I think this one is a stack. Neither of these fighters has been a DFS beast in the past, and I am not expecting a strong scoring pace, but when you are talking about -155 odds to go the full 25 minutes and a 55/45 near coin flip, I think you’ve got to just take the floor that comes with stacking in cash. Start your cash game lineups by stacking this fight and locking in Kaue Fernandes.

Bward586: With the value opened up from Kaue Fernandes, I don’t think you have to stack this one, as it’s possible to build a lineup featuring exclusively favorites or favorites + Imavov. With that said, unless you have a strong feeling about who wins this one, I’d stack it. It’s a slight favorite to make it the full 25 minutes, and both guys have the combination of striking power and grappling that we look for in DFS.

LiamPicksFights: I don’t love the idea of stacking the main event this week because both fighters have a path to a finish, and Borralho’s wrestling could limit Imavov’s scoring upside. I would rather pick an individual piece from the main event and play Fernandes at a discount. I prefer the Borralho click, but either choice is reasonable.

Which fight are you most likely to avoid and why?

h3budda: There are three fights on this slate that are all in the same boat: Hughes/Bannon, Tavares/Bryczek, and Gomis/Ruchala. They feature fighters who are not historical scorers in Hughes, Tavares, and Gomis. All three are favorites in good spots to actually win slow-paced fights. The only way these fights are relevant is if the underdogs win.
