What are your thoughts about stacking the 5-round fight in cash games?

h3budda: This heavyweight main event is extremely tricky for cash builds. In this situation, either fighter could lose quickly – not to mention the slow pace this fight could take for fantasy. I believe you just take Teixeira and move on. He is the younger guy with a massive speed and age advantage.

Moneyball16: This one is expected to end so early that you should effectively treat it more like a 3-round fight. Lewis would be a bad cash game play with only being a small favorite to make it out of the first round. I’ll probably play Teixeira though.

Bward586: The case for stacking this one isn’t because either fighter provides a solid floor—they don’t. Neither grapples much, and the winner of this one likely does it quickly and violently. The smart play is to just go with the favored Teixeira, but I don’t hate stacking him with Lewis. An upset wouldn’t shock me, and we need to save all the salary we can on this slate. If I can build comfortable lineups without Lewis, I will, but I don’t mind taking the punt on him.

LiamPicksFights: You should have one piece of the main event given the violent nature, the high probability the fight ends inside the distance, and the unknowns about Tallison Teixeira’s cardio (having never fought outside of Rd. 1). I would advise against stacking because it is hard for me to imagine both guys putting up high scores in a short fight.
