What are your thoughts about stacking the 5-round fight in cash games?
Moneyball16: This is probably not a stack. Tsarukyan is a great cash play, but Hooker has such low odds of getting a win that it is hard to recommend him. For just a little more salary, you can get significantly better odds of a win. Also, Tsarukyan is so good and plays such a style that it is hard to score against him. We could easily see a 5-round fight where Hooker still does not score much.
Bward586: You’re definitely going to want to play Tsarukyan even at his high price, which would typically force you onto Hooker for salary-balancing purposes. While he’s not a bad play relative to his price, there are enough value options (Muhammad, Grad, Rock) that you can make it work without him. I’ll likely just have Tsarukyan.
LiamPicksFights: I don’t like the idea of stacking this fight. Tsarukyan can score high, but he has also had winning performances that don’t justify his salary. Hooker is a 50/50 proposition to score 100+ in his wins, and he could put up a horrible score if he gets finished early like markets are projecting.
