MMA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for UFC 294 – Islam Makhachev vs. Alexander Volkanovski

What are your thoughts about stacking the five-round fight in cash?

eys819: I would definitely stack this one. The fight is even money to go the distance, which gives this stack a massive floor. Plenty of points should be scored no matter how the fight plays out, with either Makhachev landing several takedowns or Volkanovski landing massive volume while stuffing the takedowns. It should be a close fight again, with the total fantasy output plenty good enough for cash games.

Moneyball16: With almost 50% odds to go the full 5 rounds and Volkanovski scoring 62 DK points in a loss in their first fight, it’s probably a stack, but I don’t think it’s as good as it first appears. Makhachev has been extremely hard to score against in his career, and even those 62 DK points that Volkanovski previously had in a loss came with a 10-point knockdown, which is an anomaly in a loss.

h3budda: Don’t even have to think about it! You stack and move on. This is a tough slate that has a ton of big favorites that could all roll. That would mean there’s not a lot to be had for underdogs. In the first fight, both guys scored well, and I expect it to be the same.

squirrelpatrol: It’s absolutely a fight to stack in cash. In the first fight, Volkanovski scored over 62 DK points in the loss, and there are very few cheap fighters with win equity.
