MMA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for UFC 295 – Procházka vs. Pereira
What are your thoughts about stacking the five-round fights in cash?
eys819: The mid-range pricing of both five-rounders makes this a tough call. Both winners are likely to post a massive score for their price tag, but the issue is the loser in each fight likely has a very low floor. There are “safer” cash plays in the other 11 fights, and getting the winners of the two five-rounders is basically a coin flip according to Vegas.
Moneyball16: Despite the Aspinall / Pavlovich fight expected to be very close, it is also a favorite to end in the first round, so I would not treat this like a normal 5-round fight, and I’d probably just stay away in cash even though it should be a GPP banger. The Pereira / Prochazha fight is still only +370 to go the full 5 rounds, so it’s not the best stack either, but it’s a solid option.
h3budda: There are two five-round fights that are highly likely to end inside the distance. It’s tricky because you are locking in a great floor for the Pereira / Prochazka fight. That fight should have more opportunity for longer periods of striking. I’d be more apt to take the Kang moneyline value, one of the heavyweight guys, and stack the light heavyweight fight.
squirrelpatrol: I would lean toward stacking the Pereira / Prochazka fight in cash, but you don’t need to stack the Aspinall / Pavlovich fight, as it is likely to end in the first round.
