UFC 298: Alexander Volkanovski vs. Ilia Topuria

The octagon is back in Miami, Florida for a massive fight card with huge implications across the UFC landscape. We have a title on the line in the talent-stacked bantamweight division and contenders fights all the way to the preliminary headliner. With 14 great fights to break down, we have no time to waste!

Maryna Moroz vs. Joanne Wood

Fight Odds: -250 Moroz vs. +200 Wood
Weight Class: W125lb. (Women’s Flyweight)

Joanne Wood has announced her retirement heading into this fight, and that makes me feel like she is going to have a difficult time flipping the script on an opponent who handed her her first professional MMA defeat back in 2015. Maryna Moroz has lost two fights in a row, but she lost to Jennifer Maia (common opponent that finished Wood) and Karine Silva, a tough up-and-coming woman that she had a previous win over on the regional scene.

Moroz has transitioned some of her professional focus to a profitable OnlyFans career, but she still trains at a world class gym in ATT, and she seems more likely to continue her career after this, so give me Moroz to earn her third finish inside the UFC against one of the most finishable women in the history of women’s mixed martial arts.

Prediction: Maryna Moroz defeats Joanne Wood via SUB2/3 (RNC)

Asu Almabaev vs. CJ Vergara
