Welcome to the weekend and to SquirrelPatrol’s Takedowns for UFC Fight Night – Cannonier vs. Borralho. This card is taking place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas with a 7pm ET start time on Saturday and features three fights with fighters from this season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). The main event is a five-round middleweight bout between Caio Borralho and Jared Cannonier, with Borralho undefeated in his six UFC fights. With so many fighters on this card making their UFC debut, we are sure to see some surprises on Saturday night.
Let’s see if we can find some overlooked fighters to help us take down a GPP this weekend.

MMA DFS Picks: SquirrelPatrol’s Takedowns for UFC Fight Night – Cannonier vs. Borralho
Ryan Loder
DraftKings: $7,800
FanDuel: $13
This card features a number of relatively unknown fighters making their UFC debut via The Ultimate Fighter series. Ryan Loder is a slight +140 underdog against the violent striker Robert Valentin, and Valentin’s higher odds for an early finish could lead to him being more popular. Loder has the upside for multiple takedowns, however, and fight props show him as -150 for over 2.5 takedowns. I’ll side with the salary and pOwn% discount on Loder and hope that he is able to score grappling points in a win.
