Ruziboev is a middleweight from Uzbekistan by way of Philadelphia who is stepping in on late notice to fight Brunno Ferreira, and while we don’t know much about the 29-year-old, he has won his last eight fights spanning 3.5 years, all of them first-round finishes. The level of competition is questionable, which is why Ruziboev is an underdog in this fight, but I think there is a wider range of outcomes in this fight than Ruziboev’s sub-10% ownership indicates (and many of those outcomes lead to a large fantasy score). Ruziboev has a better than 33% chance of winning this fight (+175 odds) and could rack up grappling points along the way, all while taking down the highly popular (56% projected ownership) Ferreira.
