Welcome to the weekend and to SquirrelPatrol’s Takedowns for UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Bueno Silva. We’re coming off one of the best cards of the year in UFC 290, and I was excited that we again hit on three of the four underdogs in this article last week with Pantoja, Du Plessis, and Hooker all taking down wins. This week we have another 13-fight card and while the names aren’t as big as last week, there is still plenty of money to be made in our DFS tournaments. Let’s dig into the slate and see if we can find some overlooked picks to get us to the top of the leaderboard with our GPP lineups:

We should have a number of relatively popular underdogs this week, but one underdog who I don’t think will be as highly owned as she should be is Chelsea Chandler. Chandler showed both a high pace and first-round knockout ability in her UFC debut against Julija Stoliarenko last October. Norma Dumont should have the grappling advantage in this fight, but Stoliarenko was able to take Chandler down as well and it didn’t stop Chandler from getting the first-round stoppage. With her ability to rack up points, a nearly 44% odds of winning this fight, and a $7,800 price tag on DK ($14 on FanDuel) Chandler has a clear path to the winning tournament lineup if some of the other underdogs on this card fail.
