MMA DFS and Betting Breakdown for UFC Fight Night - Whittaker vs. Aliskerov*

UFC Fight Night – Lewis vs. Nascimento
The UFC returns to St. Louis, Missouri for an action-packed fight night headlined by heavyweights and stacked with local attractions from the prelims to the co-main event of the evening. Young prospects are getting tested against savvy vets, and the heavyweight knockout king seeks another tally on his ledger. Let’s discuss the preliminary action beginning with a scrap between two women building momentum in the flyweight division.
Veronica Hardy vs. J.J. Aldrich
Fight Odds: -150 Hardy vs. +125 Aldrich
Weight Class: W125lb. (Women’s Flyweight)
Veronica Hardy looks like a different fighter from when she arrived in the UFC, both physically and technically. She has undergone a substantial recomposition of her body to be more muscular and physically imposing inside the octagon. Under the tutelage of her husband Dan Hardy, Veronica has been traveling from world class gym to world class gym accruing knowledge from the likes of Team Renegade (Leon Edward’s gym in the UK) and the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City.
Now she is taking on a seasoned UFC veteran in J.J. Aldrich with both women riding two-fight UFC win streaks. Aldrich has fought most of the best women in the sport between strawweight and flyweight, but she has failed to win four consecutive bouts at any point in her fourteen-fight UFC tenure. Aldrich typically looks sharp with her boxing and takedown defense early in the bout, but she can succumb to pressure and lose to superior technique as demonstrated by her losses to Ariane Lipski, Erin Blanchfield, and Sabina Mazo most recently. Aldrich is well rounded but doesn’t run away with any phase of the fight. I feel Hardy’s dedicated grappling work and superior game planning will lead to the victory. Aldrich has won in St. Louis before, but I expect Hardy’s improvements to rule the day.
Prediction: Veronica Hardy defeats J.J. Aldrich via SUB2/SDEC
