Nunes is widely regarded as the best fighter in women’s MMA history, having wins over all the previous champions of the division in a dominant fashion. Julianna Pena on the other hand was widely discounted by the masses and the betting public, giving her the chance to come through as a +700 (12.5%) underdog, one of the widest closing line underdogs in UFC history. Now Julianna Pena enters as UFC champion; she remains the betting underdog to the tune of an average market comeback of +219 (31.4%) with Nunes sitting at a market average price of -273 (73.2%).
