This weekend, we head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Brickyard 400. The race is Sunday at 2:00pm ET on TNT. In 2024, the Cup Series returned to the Indy Oval. There were 10 cautions for 34 laps. Last season had 6 cautions for 28 laps. There have been at least 8 cautions in 7 of the last 8 oval races here. Teams had 3 sets of tires for practice on Friday. There was a tire test here in June with Ross Chastain, Ryan Preece, and John Hunter Nemechek. I do think those cars and teams have a little bump this weekend. I’ll be using recent speed data, Pocono/Indy speed data, 2026 speed, practice, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. With a recent race at Pocono, I will factor that and practice a little more than usual. Like I mentioned in the NOAPS article, practice has correlated well with race speed.

NASCAR DFS Picks: Brickyard 400

The stages are 50, 50, and 60, which is a total of 160 laps. With 160 laps, we’re looking at 72 potential fastest lap points and 40 laps led points on DraftKings. On FanDuel, we’re looking at 16 laps led and 16 laps completed points.
